Hunan Art Creation Project Excellent Works Tour kicks off

The Hunan Art Creation Project Excellent Works Tour (Xiangxi) as well as the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Art Works Exhibition opened at the exhibition hall of Xiangxi Prefecture Federation of Literary and Art Circles on June 15. A total of 140 works are exhibited, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings, watercolor powder paintings, printmaking, New Year paintings, comic books, and ceramics. The works of several participating painters have been displayed in national art exhibitions. A participating painter said that the unique ethnic culture and natural landscapes of Xiangxi provide artists with rich creative themes. He hopes to record the rapid changes of his hometown in the form of oil paintings based on the cultural characteristics of Xiangxi.

The exhibition will last until June 25.
